Before latte art, fancy pour overs and hipster baristas, there was a regular guy who wanted a reliably good cappuccino. No one in the city did this, so he opened a cafe on 5th ave and did it himself. He paid close attention to the coffee and after a couple of years he put a sign up out front that read, "The Elysian Room."
